Medicare Plan Options and Benefits
When it comes to selecting your Medicare coverage, the choices can be confusing. And, choosing the right coverage is an important part of helping to ensure your financial stability. The good news is that PFG can help.
Medicare Advantage Plans
PFG offers Medicare Advantage plans from nationally recognized carriers. Medicare Advantage plans are much like employer-sponsored health insurance plans. These plans include all of your Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) and Part B (Medical Insurance) benefits, plus emergency and urgent care. Medicare Advantage plans may also include Medicare Part D (Prescription Drug Coverage), zero plan premiums, worldwide coverage for emergency care and extra coverage for vision, hearing and dental.
Medicare Supplement Plans
Medicare Supplement Plans are designed to help “fill the gaps” in your Medicare Part A and B coverage. You are still in Medicare and can keep your same doctors, but with a supplement plan, you can have more predictable costs for expenses such as deductibles and coinsurance.
Medicare Part D Plans (PDPs)
While enrolling in a Medicare Part D prescription drug plan is not a requirement, it’s a smart way to manage your healthcare expenses. With Medicare Part D you get some relief from the high cost of medications you take now — and those you may need in the future.
Since Part D plans are unique for each carrier, your local PFG agent can help answer your eligibility questions and help you understand your available Medicare Part D options giving you confidence that you have found the plan that best meets your needs.
